Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, Ultraslim Gaming Laptop with Gahar Offal

JAKARTA – Asus has officially released its newest portable gaming device, the ROG Zephyrus G14. A laptop that has a stylish body design that is quite compact, but with great specifications.

The Zephyrus G14 is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 4000 HS Series processor and a graphics chip (GPU) from NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060. This innards construction is embedded in a thin laptop body, so it weighs only 1.6 kilograms.

To support its performance, the ROG Zephyrus G14 screen has a high refresh rate and supports AMD FreeSync technology. The screen is claimed to be able to reproduce colors accurately because it has the Pantone Validated certification, which makes it suitable for use by content creators and professionals.

“This laptop has storage up to 1TB PCIe SSD and 16GB DDR4 3200 Mhz,” said Jimmy.

Animated LED Matrix

Another interesting feature of this laptop is the presence of the AniMe LED Matrix, which Asus pinned on the back panel of the ROG Zephyrus screen. The AniMe Matrix feature allows users to customize the back view of the laptop using 1,215 mini LEDs which have 256 levels of light.

With this capability, various animations and images can be displayed properly. In addition to images and animations, AniMe Matrix can also present various display effects such as a music equalizer synchronized with the audio system on the ROG Zephyrus G14.

To support performance, the laptop is equipped with five heatpipes under the surface that are able to suck heat out of the CPU and GPU. Plus the Ergolift design which helps air circulation on this laptop to run optimally.

The completeness of the port on this laptop is also fairly complete, using a built-in 180W charger or using a USB-C port with a maximum power of 65W with Power Delivery technology which makes the Zephyrus G14 more compact. Besides supporting power delivery, the USB Type-C port on the ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA401) also supports display output with DisplayPort 1.4 protocol support.

While the HDMI 2.0b port allows this ultraslim gaming laptop to be connected to 4K monitors and TVs, there is also a USB-A port. For wireless connectivity, the ROG Zephyrus G14 comes with Intel WiFi 6 (Gig +) or WiFi 802.11ax.

Another feature, ROG Zephyrus G14 is also equipped with a fingerprint feature located on the power button. As a gaming laptop, of course, it supports the backlight on the keyboard panel.

For the ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop, the price starts at IDR 18.29 million for the Non-AniMe Matrix (R5-4600HS / GTX1650Ti / 8G / 512G PCIe / FHD) variant.

While the AniMe Matrix variant (R7-4800HS / GTX1650Ti / 8G / 512G PCIe / FHD) is priced at IDR 23.9 million, (R7-4800HS / GTX1660Ti / 8G / 512G PCIe / FHD) is priced at IDR 28.9 million, and finally (R9-4900HS / RTX2060 / 16G / 1TB PCIe / FHD) is priced at IDR 34.9 million.
